Pancha Pokhari Trekking - 13 days

The trek originates from Chautara. From Kathmandu drive to Chautara (this main gate for starts Trek. Chautara is the district headquarters. The trek first passes through a village and then all the way it is forests. The forests mainly bamboo, pine and other evergreen forests. Along the trek panoramic viewpoint. we see Gauri Shanker, . Langtang, Dorje Lakpa, Jugal Himal The name Pancha Pokhari is deprived from a holy lake. Paanch Pokhari is a ridge ascending to the north where it reaches Jugal Himal.

On the way the trek passes by a monastery called Chhagumn Monastery. This is where the Reincarnation Monks (Avatare Lama) lives. From this area a part of Tibet can also be seen. The trek ends at Friendship Bridge, which is the border of Tibet and Nepal. This is non-tourist area where people get real adventure with them tour.

Itineraries

Day 1. Drive from Kathmandu to Chautara Overnight Camp.
Day 2. Walk from Chautara to Gairi or Nikunja Overnight Camp.
Day 3. Walk from Gairi to Kamikharka Overnight Camp.
Day 4. Walk from Kamikharka to pouwa Bhanjang overnight Camp
Day 5. Pauwa Bhanjang walk to Hille Overnight Camp.
Day 6. Walk from Hille to Narsing Pati Overnight Camp.
Day 7. Narsing pati walk to Pachpokhari Overnight Camp.
Day 8. Pachpokhari walk to Narsingpati Overnight Camp.
Day 9. Narsing pati walk to Chhimti Overnight Camp.
Day 10. Chhimti Rest day.
Day 11. Chhimti walk to Tipini Overnight Camp.
Day 12. Walk from Tipini to Melamchipul Overnight Camp.
Day 13. Melamchipul to Kathmandu
