Darjeeling Trek

Darjeeling town is strung out over a ridge, just a valley away from Sikkim. It still attracts traditional tourist for its well touted tea gardens and the old British Raj residual charms. Until beginning of the 18th century the area was under Sikkimese Raja. Then after the invasion of Gurkhas from Nepal, the British East India Company intervened and acquired concession of the area from the Raja of Sikkim to set up a sanitarium for its troops due to its favorable weather conditions. Development was rapid with Tea Garden and trade with Tibet and India. Today, almost 50 years after the British regime, Darjeeling still flourishes with tea gardens and seasonal tourist and retains to this day the old charm and flavor of that "never ending Victoria era…

Darjeeling /Singalila trek

Day 01: Arrive and check into hotel in Darjeeling
Day 02: Sightseeing tour of Darjeeling town.
Day 03: Drive down to Maneybhanhyang and start trek, camp at Gairibas.
Day 04: Sandakphu
Day 05: Phalut
Day 06: Ramam
Day 07: Rimbick
Day 08: Drive back to Darjeeling
Day 09: Transfer over to Bagdogra either Biratnagar airport for departure.
